Singapore's fitness scene is buzzing with excitement as it gears up to host another high-energy Hyrox competition. But what makes this event so special? Well, it's not just about attracting tourists; it's about creating an immersive fitness experience that leaves a lasting impression. Vijay Andrews, a 32-year-old Indian fitness coach, embodies this spirit. After a challenging recovery from an injury that prevented him from competing in New Delhi's July Hyrox event, Andrews seized the opportunity to participate in the November edition in Singapore. He shared, 'Singapore was the closest country to host a Hyrox event, and my love for travel and fitness made it an ideal choice for me.'
Andrews was among over 2,200 international competitors who flocked to Singapore Expo on November 30, joining a global fitness phenomenon that has taken the world by storm. The event attracted a total of 10,400 people, making it the fifth Hyrox competition to be held in Singapore. Hyrox, a high-octane competition, blends an indoor running race with functional workout stations, captivating a dedicated fan base since its debut in Germany in 2017. With events in over 30 cities worldwide and sold-out tickets in popular markets like Washington DC and London, Hyrox has become a must-attend fitness extravaganza.
